MERRIVALE (SW/central) SX 549 752 Dartmoor Inn. Tie up in a good paddock just outside . 01822 890340. You can get there from the north down a sliver of access land, that comes down by the quarry, just to the east of the pub, avoids busy road.

Centre of the moor. tie up behind pub, 4 stables but often full of junk, sheltered location,what a shame,was traditionally a real hunting/riding pub but now paddock turned over to gardenbelieved for sale(2012) perhaps new owners more horse friendly 01822 880213

Nr POSTBRIDGE (NE) The Warren House Inn, Fabulously positioned isolated pub, but next to busy road. Tie rails on sloping ground, exposed in bad weather, keep close eye on horses, could be such a great place...has huge paddock but not fenced.

Provision for horse holidays (self catering) with stables or paddocks, B&B, bunkhouses & campsite available.
